This mobile application was developed by Ministry of Health, Myanmar. It was based on “Guidelines for the Clinical Management of HIV Infection in Myanmar 5th Edition, 2017” and “Amendment to Guidelines for the Clinical Management of HIV Infection in Myanmar, 2018”, both published by the National AIDS Programme, Department of Public Health, Ministry of Health and Sports, Myanmar.
HIV Clinical Job Aids mobile app is designed to to assist healthcare workers in health facilities providing services to people living with HIV (PLHIV) in effectively provide HIV testing services, and treating and managing HIV cases. This app is designed for medical professionals and students.
Through this mobile app, the user can access the followings.
• HIV Testing Algorithm and WHO staging
• OI Prophylaxis, PEP, ARVs, their side effects and treatment failure
• Laboratory monitoring for ART clients
• How to collect and transport lab samples
• TB screening, TPT and Diagnosing TB among PLHIV
• Clinical checklist for client stable on ART
• PMTCT and EID algorithms
• KP classification
• Creatinine clearance calculator
The primary objective is to groom medical professionals working in HIV facilities to operationalize the HIV clinical management guidelines.
